New Shade Flower Bed

All the hard work on the flower beds is paying off. The first bed to come together was a small bed on the north side of the house. Based on the massive, mossy rock pile (that was first shifted and is now being slowly eliminated), the side yard was something of a catch-all.
This new bed is shaded throughout the day, so I selected plants that are known to prefer shade- a Japanese Mapale, Guacamole Hostas (don’t you love that name?), and Aurora Bleeding Hearts.
