Photographic Interlude: Eight

It may be grey and cloudy here today, but one of the local harbingers of spring has finally arrived. The local farmer’s market opened for the season.  I spent an hour wandering around, taking pictures, and enjoying all the vendors. I thought I’d share these  chocolate mint plants because I saw so many vendors selling herbs for planting.

Now, I may be a new gardener, but I know enough to stay away from tender plants like tomatoes and basil for a while yet. As tempting as the chocolate mint was, it wasn’t meant to come home with me today, especially when considering another plant purchase would require me to come up with an appropriate justification.
