A Few Good Marketing Blogs

Hey, I'm a marketer, so it stands to reason that I read about marketing. After all, there is always room for improvement. As it turns out, good blogging intersects with good marketing because successful blogs draw visitors (the reverse is also true), and they convert those visitors into regular readers.
- Seth Godin's blog is at the top of almost everyone's top marketing blog list and many general top blog lists (like TIME's). It would take a dissertation to examine everything that makes Seth Godin's blog successful. He 'gets' that marketing is about connecting with people and that technology is constantly pushing marketers to evolve. He is also authentic.
- Marketing Profs Daily Fix reflects the diversity of ideas, perspectives, and people in marketing. This blog features an extensive list of contributors that draw inspiration from a variety of places.
- Copyblogger also makes my list because marketers need to write well. Falling short in writing is falling short in marketing.
Yes, the fact that I am writing about successful blogs here is amusing in a ha or derisive snort type of funny, but not quite funny enough to merit a full ha-ha.
